Tobias Molitor
Tobias Molitor was born in 1986 in Cologne (Germany). He lives and works in Berlin.
He is a multidisciplinary artist and conceptual screen printer. His works explore everyday products and fast-moving consumer goods that often receive little attention. His oeuvre consists of ordinary objects with graphic elements that reflect the cultural context and 'Zeitgeist'. His works address themes such as cultural identity, mass production and consumption, souvenirs and collecting.
Tobias Molitor studied at Central St. Martins in London. He currently studies at Universität der Künste Berlin with Lucia Kempkes. His most important exhibitions include: "Druck & Zug" at Kronacher Kunstverein e.V. in Kronach, Salon Acme Vol. 10 in Mexico City, "2 Siebdrucker aus Nigeria & ein paar aus Berlin" at Hilbertraum in Berlin, "Wonderful Waste: Molitor meets Cool Collection" at ZIK Gallery in Berlin, and "Thank You For Shopping", at Museum Villa Haiss in Zell am Hamersbach.
