Jonas Camps

Jonas Camps was born in 1992 in Hasselt (Belgium). He lives and works in Antwerp (Belgium).

He is a photographer working across documentary and lifestyle photography. His work blends social documentation with thoughtful visual design, exploring techniques like riso-printing, screenprinting, and corruption of analog film. His images, captured mostly on medium format film, emphasise the power of snapshots and the beauty of everyday life, with a particular focus on detail, tone, and depth.

Jonas Camps operates under the studio name JS×CS, located in Blikfabriek in Antwerp. His seminal project, “Empty Billboards”, is a self-published photo book chronicling the construction of the first concrete skateparks in Mozambique, Zambia, and Eswatini between 2019 and 2023. The project was realised in collaboration with Skateworldbetter and Wonders Around The World.
