Tobias Molitor

Tobias Molitor was born in 1986 in Cologne (Germany). He lives and works in Berlin (Germany).

He is a multidisciplinary artist and conceptual screen printer. His works explore everyday products and fast-moving consumer goods that often receive little attention. His oeuvre consists of ordinary objects with graphic elements that reflect the cultural context and Zeitgeist. The screen-printing technique emphasises the repetitive and industrial nature of these objects. His works address themes such as cultural identity, consumption, mass production, and souvenirs.

Tobias Molitor studied at Central St. Martins in London (England). His most recent exhibitions include: “2 Siebdrucker aus Nigeria & ein paar aus Berlin” at Hilbertraum in Berlin, “Low Budget, High Pants” at Salon Schmitz in Cologne, “Wonderful Waste: Molitor meets Cool Collection” at ZIK Gallery in Berlin, and “Whaam! Action & Consequences” at CSR, Berlin.
